Managing people and processes stopped being synonymous to distributing orders and became the same to manage groups and actions where everyone feels important and all parties are integrated.
When the subject is managing people, we enter the fundamental part of process, because regardless a huge budget to achieve something, if there is no synergy between the process actors, the result tends to not fully reach the expected, and this culminates on monetary losses, internal dissatisfaction and even the collapse of the company.
Investing on a company’s manpower Management no longer is control the work input and output or the simple distribution of instructions. Today this enterprise aims to stimulate, develop, enhance and engage the internal public, and this is not an easy task, but it’s not impossible.
Manage processes ranges from people to material, going through capital and technology, all acting and complementing. In other words, when a company grows, the resources used in processes become more complex, more expensive and more technology and training are needed. Only then the investment will be worth and the corporation will continue to grow. The point that ties all the complexity of a project isn’t the amount invested, but in whom the company invests and this is the main differential in the quest of growth and the fight against competition. Believing in people who work with you and invest on their development will be the key to your success.
At the same time every successful project has its beginning, its development and its conclusion, we realize that in all these moments, two factors are totally important: communication with people and good management and appreciation of them. When we divide a project, we found three areas that must be managed:
- Organization / definition
- Planning
- Management
Unfortunately many projects tend to have some skipped steps by inefficiency of its managers or lack of knowledge of collaborators, at the time of execution. Therefore, investing on management will ensure the icing on the cake and the greatest possibility of success; after all, in a competitive market, all details are directly decisive for conquest or failure.
